Some shelters across America are not the safe havens they should be for companion animals.
The high-kill animal “shelter” system in America is lacking transparency and accountability. MO4PAWS has witnessed this first hand where healthy, treatable, and adoptable dog and cat companion animals are needlessly killed, being denied basic medical care and humane living conditions, and put in areas of the shelter not made available to the public.
